Quest Underseas

DIVE: PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

JOURNEY: Honduras, Mozambique or Malaysia
PURPOSE: Dive Qualification
DURATION: 2 days
The next step after PADI Open Water and the minimum requirement to participate in our projects. Please note: On completion of any PADI course, any individuals not taking part in a Quest Underseas project will be asked to pay an additional one-off £50 to The Quest Charitable Trust to help fund our in-country conservation work.

The best way to increase your diving experience is through continued training, and the Advanced Open Water course is specifically designed to follow immediately after completion of your PADI Open Water Diver Course, or at any time thereafter. Its aim is to ease you more gently into non-instructional diving, letting you make your own decisions and plans, as well as helping to develop your confidence in your own abilities.

This license allows you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 30 metres/100 feet without professional supervision (where local laws allow), and takes just 2 days to complete. During the course you will complete five training dives, two of which are compulsory (Navigation and Deep dives). The other three dives you can choose from a list of adventure dives on offer at the dive school you choose, such as night, deep, navigation, naturalism, multilevel, boat, search & recovery, underwater photography, underwater videography, cavern and many other amazing experiences.

Any divers wanting to participate in our Underseas projects need to be qualified to at least Advanced Open Water Diver!
