Quest Underseas

DIVE: PADI OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

PADI Open Water Diver

JOURNEY: Honduras, Mozambique or Malaysia
PURPOSE: Dive Qualification
DURATION: 4 days

The Open Water Diver certification is the first complete PADI certification you can earn. Please note: On completion of any PADI course, any individuals not taking part in a Quest Underseas project will be asked to pay an additional one-off £50 to The Quest Charitable Trust to help fund our in-country conservation work.

The Open Water Diver certification is the first complete PADI certification you can earn.

This license is the most recognised in the dive industry and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world, independent of professional supervision, to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet.

The course consists of four full days of fun and adventure. By the end of it you will have completed five shallow water training dives, five short classroom sessions and four open water training dives (two to a maximum depth of 12 metres and two to a maximum depth of 18 metres).

This course requires no previous diving experience. You'll be amazed and ask yourself why you didn’t take this course earlier but be warned: diving is addictive!

Any divers wanting to participate in our Underseas projects need to be qualified to at least Advanced Open Water Diver!

COST:

PADI dive courses are all sold at a flat price that varies by country. NB: These prices are subject to change and may vary according to international exchange rates.

Honduras £132
